How to Join a Team in SureMembers

When someone shares a team invite link with you, joining takes just a step or two. What you see depends on whether you already have an account on the site.

If You Already Have an Account

If you’re already logged in when you open the invite link, there’s nothing to create or verify since you already have an account. The page shows a short message confirming who you’re logged in as, along with a Join This Team button.

1. Click Join This Team.

That’s it. You get the same access as everyone else on the team right away, with no new password and no email confirmation needed.

If You’re New to the Site

If you don’t have an account yet, the invite link takes you to a registration form.

1. Fill in your email, first name, last name, and a password of at least 8 characters.
2. Confirm your password.
3. Click Create Account.

Note: If you already have an account but aren’t logged in, look for the “Already have an account? Log in to join” link on this page instead of filling out the form.

For security, you’ll need to confirm you own the email address before your account is created:

1. After clicking Create Account, you’ll see a message asking you to check your email. No account exists yet at this point.
2. You’ll receive a “Confirm your team membership” email with a Confirm & Join the Team button. This link is valid for one hour.
3. Click the button in that email.

Once you confirm, your account is created with the password you chose, you’re logged in automatically, and you get instant access, the same as everyone else on the team.

If the Invite Link Doesn’t Work

You might see one of these messages if something’s gone wrong:

• “This invite link is invalid or has expired.” The link itself is no longer active.
• “This team is full and cannot accept new members.” The team has reached its seat limit. Ask the team owner to free up a seat or increase the limit.
• “An account with this email already exists. Please log in instead.” Log in with your existing account and use the one-step join described above.
• “This confirmation link is invalid or has expired. Please register again.” This shows up if you wait more than an hour to click the confirmation email. Simply register again to get a fresh link.

Conclusion
