BuddyBoss
With the release of SureMembers 1.4.0, we have started rolling out our BuddyBoss integration.
This first release brings an integration with the BuddyBoss member access controls.
Here is the explanation from BuddyBoss’s YouTube channel.
All settings for this are accessible inside of the BuddyBoss settings as demonstrated in the video.
For example, the Group Access, you select Membership then select SureMembers. Your access groups will appear, simply choose the group.
This is just the start of us integrating with BuddyBoss. As with all WordPress membership plugins, we have to work with what BuddyBoss gives us.
Currently there is no way to protect some of the core pages that BuddyBoss creates. No membership plugin is able to do this.
These pages include:
- Activity feeds
- Group index page
- Forum index page
We have built, but not released, the ability to protect public Groups and Forums. We are evaluating how we can provide membership protection in a meaningful way.
We don't respond to the article feedback, we use it to improve our support content.
